A deteriorated drive with no defined edge, rebuilt with a brick edge to the concrete and a black timber edge to the gardens, with the pongas trimmed back.
The clients wanted overhead sails to shade the living room and some raised gardens for annuals. The sails were fixed securely to the house and posts, and the raised beds add colour for entertaining.
An overgrown yard of mixed functions became an outdoor kitchen to entertain with, complete with outdoor sinks, storage space, fences, decking and lighting.
A backyard with soil levels too high and trees in poor shape was rebuilt to a more usable level, with raised gardens, an exposed concrete base and a new oriental trellis fence.
